I will say that UDG was available on the Nintendo switch for about 2 weeks to a month. I remember that they had it and wanted to buy it but didn’t have money at the time. But when I went back to see if it was still there it was gone. I assume that it was taken off for glitches or the game being too massive for the small device and took it off. I never bought it but I assume that if people did buy it they would be payed full refund but I’m not too so you can take my word for it. Btw keep this in mind I think this was about a year and half ago so take my take on it with a grain of salt

Just the way Battler and Beato's relationship has evolved would have me rambling about the subtleties of their growth, but every single character feels so thought out, so 3d, even Erika the damn gremlin- it was so easy guving her literally nothing but her own selfish ego as a motivation but her weird relationship to Bern makes even her a little more flesh out. And that part about how the writer and reader get in a relationship pf trust to fully explain hiw 'without love, it cannot be seen' is just great Enjoy your con, hope you really get to meet with Ryu07

I know this is probably obvious, but I always enjoyed the hypocrisy of Junko. To me it makes her even seem more like a delusional Disney villain, she HOPES for the despair to spread around the world, it just shows that what she’s doing is just her basically using hope, and I always found it funny.

I may have encountered some mild spoilers for major things a long way down the road, but I still have no idea how those elements play into things and how they came to be. All I can say is that I’m feeling very strongly that this story is about the cycles of abuse and escapism. ESPECIALLY with Maria and how she copes with her mother’s abuse by telling herself and Rosa, ‘a bad witch did it so it’s ok’, that fucking sucks. And Beato’s insistence on magic (other than her displaying magic powers in this episode and the tea parties) feels like a defense mechanism; the truth doesn’t have to be so awful if you can explain it away with magic. That said Battler going up to a woman who has him in a magical closed space watching a recreation of his very bad no good family reunion and telling her, ‘this doesn’t exist, you don’t exist,’ is incredibly silly.

the apollo trilogy is my favorite thing ever, it enhances parts of the phoenix trilogy i liked the most and it really starts to embrace the japanese setting of it, the sountrack gets even better and the only bad thing to me is the way Apollo´s ability really needed a bigger screen to be appreciated, im so sad capcom gave up on translating it to my native langage after the first apollo. One of my favorite details of iit is in the third game because the trailer translates their hero to be a phoenix instead of a dragon and is very funny to me to think that the team accidentally forgot the hou in housuke also can mean phoenix so it still refers to one of the protagonist

Personally, I think psychic locks are a great concept whose potential hasn't been realized very well. The problem is that almost every psychic lock begins to open on its own as soon as you find the very first clue that is needed to begin the opening chain The problem is that as soon as you come across a psychic lock that you don’t have evidence to open, you simply go to another location until the game puts the evidence needed for this psychic lock right in your hands. Honestly, during all two games the thought “maybe I can already open this lock, but I just don’t understand how?” came up only once or twice, and the answer was almost always “no” It follows from this that the psychic lock does not really force the player to think, because most of them are terribly simple, and, again, open almost on their own as soon as you find the first clue. It's a great narrative and aesthetic tool that makes you feel the thrill of doing the cross-examination, but as a gameplay mechanic I don't think it was implemented to its full potential.

Honestly I see the whole thing about Phoenix somehow managing to get permission to be the main planner behind the ley juror system in-universe to be the fact that not only is he a great friend of Edgeworth(who's Chief Prosecutor after Lana stepped down), and Franziska Von Karma(who although they aren't as in big standing as Edgeworth is certainly has some reputation behind them being Manfred Von Karma's daughter), but all of the events behind him getting disbarred were already seemingly suspicious in the first place and since he has a bunch of people who could vouch for him(including Klavier potentially later on) Phoenix definitely could have had some legal help with this kind of thing. However I can definitely see why it isn't as easy as that since although he likely would have a ton of support he also has many potential enemies too amongst other reasons.
